ISOMAX is a family company founded on 30th May, 1990 by chemical engineer Petar Baichev. ISOMAX waterproofings are original Bulgarian development, registered with the Patent Office. The materials are certified according to the Ordinance on the essential requirements and conformity assessment of construction products, for which they have issued a “Bulgarian Technical Approval”. Since 2003, ISOMAX has a certificate according to the quality standard ISO 9001:2008 with scope: production and sale of liquid waterproofing and heat-reflecting products “ISOMAX” and application of waterproofing coatings.
Technical expertise of the Center for Research and Design at the University of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy, established durability and preservation of the qualities of over 10 years of waterproofing “ISOMAX”, under real operating conditions.

The main difference between ISOMAX pastes and roll-on bituminous materials is in the method of obtaining the waterproofing membrane. When using rolled materials, the membrane is made in the factory and installed on the site by gluing with gas-torch heating.
When using the cold waterproofing pastes “ISOMAX”, the membrane is obtained directly on the site, by the method of applying several layers of paste and laying between them one or two reinforcing layers of non-woven polyester.
One of the most significant advantage when using ISOMAX pastes is the effect of continuous, seamless waterproofing membrane on 100% of the surface of the site, which avoids the biggest disadvantage of roll-on materials – the presence of joints between the individual rolls.
